Detectives investigating the supply of drugs and firearms have charged three men
They will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court later today (Wednesday 17 November) accused of the following:
Michael Sierotko (17/11/1989), of Markham Close, Hyde, charged with conspiracy to supply class A and B drugs and conspiracy to supply a firearm;
Oliver Harrison (15/04/1990), of Hawthorn Drive, Glossop, charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs, conspiracy to supply a firearm, and possession with intent to supply class B drugs;
Peter Downs (02/09/1977), of Rochdale Road, Bacup, charged with conspiracy to supply class A and B, and conspiracy to supply a firearm.
Officers from our Tactical Aid Unit - along with support from GMP Tameside, Lancashire, and Derbyshire constabularies - arrested the men before dawn on Tuesday 16 November.
They are the 200th arrests as part of the NCA-led law enforcement operation - codenamed Venetic - investigating the encrypted communication network, EncroChat.
A 25-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs has been released under investigation.
