Jackson Williams (23/12/2001) of Walsall Street, Salford and a 17-year-old girl from Salford, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have both been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear.
They have both been remanded to appear before Manchester City Magistrates Court today (Saturday 6 November 2021).
Police were called around 2.35pm on Tuesday 2 November to a school on Manchester Road, Bury to a report of a man with a potential firearm.
Officers were swiftly deployed to the scene and an investigation launched. Initial enquiries established that following an altercation, a 17-year-old boy and a 26-year-old man had been threatened with a believed firearm before damage was caused to the man's car window.
No injuries were reported and it was established that the believed firearm was an imitation firearm.
