A man from Oldham has been charged with rape

Amir Sultani (03/03/1993) of Villa Road, Oldham has been charged with rape.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Tameside Magistrates today (Monday 4 October 2021)
Police received a report that on Saturday 11 September 2021, after leaving a pub on Old Street, Ashton-Under-Lyne a woman was approached by a man who escorted her to a vehicle. She was then subsequently raped. She is now being supported by specially trained officers and detectives are investigating the case.
