Officers were called at around 11.30am yesterday (19 October) to a report of an assault outside of Bolton College, Wellington Street, Bolton.
Emergency services attended and a male in his teens was taken to hospital with head injuries. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Enquiries have established that the victim was attacked by a group of males.
Three teenage boys, one aged 16 and two 17 have since been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault and violent disorder. They been released on bail and enquiries are ongoing.
