Three teenagers have been charged with a total of seven counts of robbery in connection with a series of incidents in Bury town centre between 27 September and 27 October.
The three males - aged 13, 15 and 16 - will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on Monday 11 October 2021 and are currently in custody.
Chief Superintendent Chris Hill, of GMP's Bury district, said: "Robbery is an abhorrent crime and I am really pleased for our communities that our officers have acted quickly in an effort to tackle issues in this area.
"These arrests and charges are part of an ongoing operation in the town and I would urge anyone with information to contact us."
