The activity forms part of Operation Lance, a high visibility policing operation taking place in phases across the day to tackle crime, disorder, vulnerability and other anti-social behaviour across the district.
As part of the day of action multiple high visibility and plain clothed patrols are being conducted across the area, focusing on crime hotspots.
Multiple warrants, including firearm and misuse of drugs warrants, are also being executed as part of the operation.
