Police have this morning (7 May 2021) charged two boys, aged 14 and 15,with the murder of 15-year-old Reece Tansey from Bolton.
They have both been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on 7 May 2021.
Police were called shortly after 4.43am on Tuesday 4 May, to a report of a stabbing on Walker Avenue, Bolton.
Reece was taken to hospital but sadly died from his injuries, despite the best efforts of emergency services.
Police continue to appeal for information.
