Second person charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Ancoats.

Meshai Newby, (2/8/1998), of Brydon Avenue, Manchester, has been charged with murder in connection with the death of 24-year-old Neri Morse.

He has also been charged with section 18 assault and possession of a bladed article, and has been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court today (26 April 2022).

Neri died following an incident on Pollard Street, Manchester city centre, at around 6.30pm on Wednesday 20 April 2022.
