Officers respond to stabbing in Bolton this evening

At approximately 5pm this evening (14 December 2022), officers were called to reports of a stabbing on Bleak Street in Bolton.

Officers and paramedics attended the scene and one man was taken to hospital with injuries that are serious but are not believed to be life-threatening.

Two scenes remain in place at Bleak Street and Tonge Moor Road whilst officers carry out their enquiries to understand the full circumstances surrounding this incident.
