At around 7.30pm on Tuesday 13 December 2022, a man in his 60s was walking with his dog near the junction of Gordon Street on Great Clowes Street in Salford .
A car collided with the man as he was walking near the junction.
Emergency services attended the scene, and the man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver remained at scene and is assisting officers with enquiries.
No arrests have been made.
GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
