A man received life-threatening injuries after being involved in a road traffic collision in Salford.
Officers were called to Alexandra Road in Eccles at 6:40pm last night (3 February 2022) to reports a 32-year-old male pedestrian had been struck by a Toyota Yaris while crossing the road.
Emergency services attended and the man was taken to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the Yaris stayed at the scene to assist police.
