Two men from Manchester have been charged following a planned strike on Wednesday night as part of an investigation into the theft of high-value cars around the region.
Lucas Hunter (28), of Dalham Avenue, and Bradley Anderson (27), of Leighton Street, will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today accused of conspiracy to steal.
The charges relate to reported car thefts by means of burglary between Tuesday 28 December 2021 and Wednesday 2 February 2022 across Greater Manchester.
Both men were arrested in Openshaw following the strike, which is part of an investigation by detectives in our Serious and Organised Crime Group who continue with their enquiries.
