A man's been charged with the attempted murder of a taxi driver in Bury.
Richard McCormack (10/08/1984) of Bell Lane, Bury has been charged with attempted murder, and has been remanded into custody.
He's due to appear at Manchester and Salford magistrate's court on Monday 17 January 2022.
A 24-year-old woman has also been arrested for assisting an offender, and has been released under investigation.
On Saturday 8 January 2022 at around 4:15am officers were called to The Rock in Bury to reports that a taxi driver had been threatened, and attacked with a knife.
Emergency services attended, and a 23-year-old man was taken to hospital with cuts to his body and serious facial injuries.
