A Special Police Constable has been charged with rape.

Special Constable Daniel Carson (10/03/97), who was based within GMPs Rochdale division, has been charged with rape in connection with an incident that occurred in December 2019.
Carson will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on the 1st August 2022. He has been suspended from duty.
Misconduct proceedings will recommence upon conclusion of criminal proceedings.
