A further arrest has been made as part of a murder inquiry after a man was found dead in Tameside earlier this month.
Thomas Campbell, 38, was found dead at an address on Riverside in Mossley at around 10.30am on Sunday 3 July 2022.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene and a murder investigation being led by detectives from GMP’s Major Incident Team continues.
A 38-year-old woman was arrested this morning (13 July 2022) on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. She remains in custody at this time for questioning.
Stephen Cleworth (24/11/1984), of Charles Street, Heywood, has previously been charged with conspiracy to commit murder. He will next appear on 15 August at Manchester Crown Court.
