Nine charged with drug offences following Operation Byron warrants

Nine charged with drug offences following warrants by GMP's Serious and Organised Crime Group.

Zulfiqar Khan (24/04/84) of Lorne Street, Bolton; Mohammed Amjad (26/09/94) of Green Lane, Bolton; Haroon Rashid (02/05/03) of Loxham Street, Bolton; Yasir Mahmood (02/05/85) of Andrew Street, Bury; Tahir Ilyas (31/07/87) of Moorfield Chase, Bolton; Nathan Millward (11/07/79) of Seathwaite Road, Bolton; Jacqueline Harmer (23/01/71) of Winifred Road, Bolton; Jason Bennett (24/02/89) of Sutherland Road, Wigan; and David Hall (29/06/83) of Stewart Road, Wigan have all been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs and remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today (Friday 24 June 2022).

On Wednesday 22 June 2022, officers executed warrants at 12 properties in Bolton, Bury and Wigan as part of Operation Byron – one of the force’s dedicated investigations into the sale of controlled drugs in Greater Manchester.
