London man charged after alleged Piccadilly Gardens stabbing last week

A man has appeared in court this morning charged with assault and possession of bladed article after an alleged stabbing in the Piccadilly Gardens area of Manchester city centre last week.
Isaac Francis (03/08/2001), of Wormholt Road, London, was remanded in custody to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court earlier today (Tuesday 22 March).
A 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was today charged with a section 4 public order offence; he is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court tomorrow (Wednesday 23 March).
At around 4.45pm on Monday 14 March, police were called to a report a man in his 20s had two stab injuries. He was treated in hospital and later discharged.
