A 41-year-old man has appeared in court after a woman was injured by her own car following a burglary in Bolton.
Gary Foulkes (DOB 09/08/1981), of Ashness Place Bolton, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, two counts of burglary, theft of motor vehicle and possession of a bladed article.
He was remanded into custody when he appeared at Bolton Magistrates' Court yesterday (14 March 22) and will next appear at Bolton Crown Court on 20 April 2022.
At around 9pm on Sunday 27 February 2022, we received a report of a fail-to-stop collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Church Street, Horwich.
A woman in her 60s suffered serious injuries and is still in hospital but expected to be discharged soon.
