The family of a woman who died in a road traffic collision in Bolton have paid their own tribute.
Ginette Daly, 63, from the Bromley Cross area, died after two cars were involved in a collision on Darwen Road on Thursday 30 March 2023.
Two other people sustained serious injuries during the collision.
The family said: “Ginette Daly (née Monbel) was a generous, loving mother and wife.
"She never ceased to put others before herself throughout her life.
"She built a strong family who love her enormously and who she loved unconditionally.
"She was the nucleus at the centre of our family and our lives, and gave us her patience and her love.
"Her time with us was devoted to those close to her who she warmed with her love and advice - her family, friends and many others close to her in our community.
"Her smile radiated with her kindness and she changed our lives. She was the beating heart and soul of our family, she will never be replaced, and she will be forever missed and loved.”
Officers continue to ask for witnesses to the collision and for any available dashcam, CCTV and doorbell footage to be submitted.
Sergeant Phillip Collingwood, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with the families affected who are being supported by specialist officers.
"No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing. If you can help, then please contact our Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4741, quoting incident 1304 of 30/03/2023.
"Information can also be reported online at www.gmp.police.uk.
"Alternatively, details can be passed via 101 or anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
