Two men were arrested after officers conducted early morning warrants at two addresses in Bolton this morning.
The men, aged 17 and 54, have been arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft of motor vehicle. They remain in custody for questioning.
A number of items were seized as evidence and enquiries will continue.
Sergeant Carla Deighton, of GMP's Bolton Neighbourhood Priority Crime Team, said: "Burglary and vehicle offences are intrusive and we are aware of the impact they have on victims.
"We hope this morning's action builds public trust and confidence that GMP is committed to investigating neighbourhood crimes whilst keeping communities safe.
