Just before 7pm last night (Friday 28 April) Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision between a vehicle and a cyclist.
A vehicle travelling onto Regent Road roundabout from Trafford Road, collided with an electric bicycle.
The cyclist suffered potentially life changing injuries and remains in hospital in a serious condition.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to assist the police with their enquires. No arrests have been made at this stage.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time, that may have witnessed the incident - or have dashcam footage - to please contact GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) by calling 0161 856 4741 quoting incident number 3172 of 29/4/2023.
