Man charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon after a disturbance in Manchester City Centre

On Monday 3 April 2023 at around 8pm, officers were called to a report of a disturbance in Piccadilly Gardens.

Officers arrived at the scene and a 26-year-old male was arrested.

Mohamed Abdi (28/02/1997) of no fixed abode was charged with affray and possession of a bladed article.

He will attend Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court court on Wednesday 5 April 2023.
