Man involved in road traffic collision in Oldham has sadly died

A pedestrian involved in a road traffic collision in Oldham has now sadly died.
The man in his 80s was taken to hospital after the incident on Sheepfoot Lane at around 8:10am on Monday 3 April 2023.
He suffered hip and pelvis injuries, but died on 7 April 2023.
The driver of a Hyundai i10 car remained at scene and assisted officers with enquiries. No arrests have been made.
GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam and mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
