Officers received calls at approximately 11.50pm last night (Monday 24 April 2023) to reports that a vehicle had collided with three parked cars on Worsley Road, Salford, close to Worsley Green.
A black Volkswagen Golf travelling towards the roundabout at Junction 13 of the M60 collided with three stationary vehicles.
As a result of the collision, three people were injured – a 32-year-old man and 23-year-old woman sustained serious injuries.
A third person, a 25-year-old man, received minor injuries.
Colleagues from NWAS attended and took the injured to hospital.
GMP are now asking for anyone who witnessed the collision to come forwards.
PC Loxham of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “This was a particularly nasty crash which has resulted in three people being injured, two seriously. We are continuing our investigation and no arrests have yet been made.
“We are appealing for anyone who was in the vicinity of Worsley Road close to the Worsley Green area at the time of the incident or anyone who witnessed it, to come forwards with any dashcam footage, that may be able to help us determine the events leading up to the accident.
“We are also keen to hear from anyone who may have doorbell or CCTV footage.
