GMP's Major Incident Team has charged four people in connection with a serious assault in Manchester city centre.
Officers were called to an incident on Dale Street at approximately 6.30pm on Wednesday 16 August 2023, in which two men sustained serious injuries.
One of them remains in hospital in a critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
Mohammed Al-Enizi Hameed (25/07/1987), of Brighton Grove, Rusholme; Hussein Muhalhal (01/08/2003), of Lower Park Road, Longsight; Fares Hassan (11/01/2002), of Ribston Street, Hulme; and Hussein Mouhelhel (01/01/2002), of Wynnstay Grove, Fallowfield; have all been charged with attempted murder and section 18 assault.
They have been remanded into custody to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on Saturday 26 August 2023.
Their families continue to be supported by specially trained officers and are aware of the progress being made in this investigation.
