This weekend, officers from Greater Manchester Police’s Serious Organised Crime Team carried out a proactive policing operation targeting the supply of Class A drugs in Bury.
Operation Revoke was launched in response to the residents’ concerns surrounding anti-social behaviour at a licensed premises on Haslam Street in Bury.
This operation culminated in a warrant at the premises and successfully resulted in four men being arrested on Friday 1 September 2023.
A total of 11 kilos of Class A drugs was seized from the premises and four men have subsequently been charged as a result.
Malcolm Tidyman (09/09/1979) of Tunstall Close, Bury was charged with:
Conspiracy to supply Class A drugs
Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs
Production Class B drugs
Conspiracy to supply Class B drugs
Breach of Serious Crime Prevention Order
Nicholas Durrant (07/11/1984) of Bolton Road, Bury was charged with:
Conspiracy to supply Class A drugs
Supply Class B drugs
Disqualified driving
No insurance
Anthony Davidson (31/01/1962) of no fixed abode was charged with:
Conspiracy to supply Class A drugs
Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs
Produce Class B drugs
Brian Morrison (27/03/1972) from Northern Ireland was charged with:
Conspiracy to supply Class A drugs
Possession with intent to supply Class B drugs
All four men are set to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates today (Monday 4 September 2023).
