Yesterday (Wednesday 2 August 2023), GMP Neighbourhood officers in Brinnington secured five driving offence charges against a 19-year-old man in Stockport.
Jack Bennett (24/12/2003) of Northumberland Road in Brinnington has been charged with the following vehicle and driving offences:
- Vehicle interference
- Driving other driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence
- Driving without third party insurance
- Driving a motorcycle without a helmet
- Driving without due consideration for other road users
Bennett will appear at Stockport Magistrates Court for the five offences on Thursday 7 September 2023.
PC Massey from GMP’s Brinnington Neighbourhood Team said “Our team are committed to tackling the anti-social use of off-road bikes in Stockport. We recognise that the use of these bikes in an anti-social manner whilst wearing balaclavas intimidates law-abiding members of the public and we will continue to arrest those who flout the rules of our roads.”
