GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit appeal for information following an incident on Simonsway, Wythenshawe on Thursday 17 August 2023

At around 2.20pm yesterday (Thursday 17 August 2023), officers were called to reports of an incident on Simonsway, Wythenshawe.
It was established that a cyclist had collided with a Tram after entering the level crossing area.
The cyclist, a 77-year-old male, is in a critical condition in hospital.
No arrests have been made and both the tram driver and Metrolink are assisting the police with their enquiries.
