A man has been charged in connection with the discovery of a quantity of drugs in Walmersley Road, Bury yesterday (2 August 2023).
Mbatijua Murise (09/04/03), of Rishton Lane, Bolton, has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class-A drugs.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Manchester magistrates court today (3 August 2023).
Sergeant James Donnelly of the Op Revoke Team in Bury, said: "Operation Revoke is cracking down on crime across Bury, through robust and proactive policing. Among the work we do is carry out disruption activities, which is demonstrated in this case.
"I hope this quick arrest and charge shows the seriousness with which we treat reports of crime within the community.
“Anyone who wants to speak to us about any concerns they have within their community, can do so by approaching any of our community beat officers or local PCSO’s, or by dialling 101.
