Officers were called to the pub in Stockport at around 9.50pm, to reports that a male was giving unwanted, physical attention to women.
The male is question is currently in custody, having been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault but GMP are concerned that there could potentially be five more women who the male was seen in company of.
Detective Inspector Chris Aunins of the Stockport Division, said: "Even though we have the male in custody, we are extremely concerned that there could be a number of other women who may have been sexually assaulted.
"We are urging anyone who came into contact with this male at the Royal Oak last night, to please get in touch with us. We will listen to you and we will believe you.
"You can contact us via 101 or by calling 0161 856 9629, quoting log number 003820-19082023.
"Similarly, if there is anyone who was there last night and has any mobile phone footage, please get in touch."
