Officers are appealing to the public for information following an assault in Manchester.
Elmi Duraku (19/07/1998) has been charged with possession of offensive weapon and section 18 assault. He has been remanded into custody whilst enquiries continue.
The charge relates to an incident on Saturday 25 November 2023, at around 4:45pm, when officers were called to reports of a section 18 assault in Stevenson Square in Manchester.
The victim – 34-year-old man - was seriously injured although thankfully his injuries were not life-threatening or life-changing.
Police are continuing to appeal for information or footage relating to the incident - including CCTV, mobile, or dashcam.
