At around 3.45pm yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 26 December 2023), officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision between a motor vehicle and a cyclist in Stretford, Trafford.
The incident saw a driver of a Renault Scenic collide with a cyclist who were both travelling on Chester Road, near to the entry slip road to the M60.
Emergency services attended and the cyclist, a 46-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious and potentially life-changing injuries.
No arrests have been made.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident - or may have dashcam or CCTV footage - to please share it with officers in GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
