Op Venture were out in force in Bolton yesterday, patrolling the Halliwell and Town Centre areas providing both high visibility and plain clothes tactics, to provide reassurance to the public.
Three arrests were made following a vehicle stop on Ely Grove, where the car was driving in a suspicious manner. As a result, two 22-year-old males and a 21-year-old male were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs. The team seized numerous mobile phones, drugs, and drug paraphernalia. They remain in custody.
Also part of the day’s operation, another man, aged 33, unconnected to the vehicle stop, was arrested on suspicion of being in breach of his court bail.
