Specialist investigators from Greater Manchester Police are appealing for information after a pedestrian was in collision with a bus in Manchester city centre.
The 54-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious head injuries following the incident on Portland Street at around 11:30pm last night (9/12/23).
The bus driver remained at the scene and no arrests have been made.
Anyone with information, dashcam footage or who was in the area at the time should contact GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4741 quoting log 3954-091223.
In a similar location at around 1am, a second man in his 40s was in collision with a different bus and sustained serious leg injuries – anyone with information should contact police quoting log 210-10/12/23.
