Man charged with 21 offences by Stockport’s Neighbourhood Crime Team for neighbourhood offences in Stockport

Joseph Johnson (05/06/1982) of no fixed abode has now been charged with 21 offences including multiple burglary, theft, driving and domestic related offences. He is remanded into custody following an appearance at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court until 31st March 2023 where he will appear at Minshull Street Crown Court.

Police Constable Nico O'Reilly of GMP’s Stockport district, said: “This has been a fantastic effort by our Neighbourhood crime team who take a proactive approach in tackling neighbourhood crime.

“We are determined to send a clear message - we will be relentless in our pursuit of tackling crime in our communities, crime impacts on the lives of victims, and I hope that these charges go some way to reassuring the public that we are delivering on this promise.
