On Wednesday 28 December 2022, officers were called to reports of multiple thefts from vehicles on a car park on Stockport Road, Levenshulme.
Officers conducted enquiries and established that 11 cars have been criminally damaged or had items taken from their vehicle at a car park and investigation was launched.
A 32-year-old man was arrested on Thursday 2 February 2023 on suspicion of theft and criminal damage.
Kamran Sarfraz (11/09/1990) of no fixed abode was charged with the following offences:
- 8x counts of criminal damage to property
- 3x counts of theft from motor vehicle
Kamran Sarfraz has been remanded and is due to appear at court on Monday 20 March 2023.
