Officers arrest man in relation to attempted murder in Brinnington

Officers have made an arrest in relation to an incident that occurred on Monday 6 February 2023 on Yates Street in Brinnington, Stockport.
A man, aged 33, of no fixed abode, was arrested at 6am this morning, Sunday 12 February 2023, on suspicion of attempt murder and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He remains in custody for questioning.
Police received reports of concern for the welfare of a man on the evening of 6 February 2023, who had been struck by a car. He received serious injuries that are believed to be life changing.
