On Sunday 19 January, at around 1am, Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a disturbance on Palatine Road, Manchester.
Emergency services attended and a man in his 20s was taken to hospital. He remains in a serious but stable condition.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Officers investigating this incident have followed up on a number of lines of enquiry and are now in a position to appeal to members of the public for information. They are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have CCTV, mobile, or dash cam footage from the time of the incident.
