At around 6am this morning (Sunday 5 February), police were called to a report of an incident on Ulundi Street in Radcliffe
Emergency services attended and a man in his 20s was taken to hospital with stab wounds. He remains in stable condition with non life-threatening injuries.
A 34 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has been taken into custody ahead of being questioned by detectives.
There are several scenes in place across Radcliffe and Stoneclough with no wider disruption to the surrounding area.
The investigation is on-going and officers are continuing to follow up a number of lines of enquiry.
