Omar Choudhury (03/04/2001) of Royton and Hamidur Rahman (06/06/1999) of Oldham have both been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
They have been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester & Salford Magistrates Court on Monday 27 February 2023.
These charges are a result of an investigation by GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit into a fatal road traffic collision on Rochdale Road in Oldham at around 1:30pm on Thursday 23 February 2023, where sadly a 16-year-old girl pedestrian passed away from her injuries sustained at the scene.
She has now been identified as Alisha Goup from Royton. Her family have asked for continued privacy whilst they grieve for their loss.
