GMP charge a man in connection with an attempted armed robbery of a shop in Bolton

Shane Rhodes (09/08/1988) of Claremont Court, Bolton, has been charged with two counts of robbery, possession of a bladed article and possession of an offensive weapon.
He has been remanded into custody to appear at Bolton Magistrates on Monday 30 January.
On Friday 27 January, at around 9:35am, GMP were called to reports of a robbery at a premises on Blackburn Road, Bolton. A swift response by GMP resulted in a man being arrested at the scene.
