On Sunday 15 January 2023, at around 2:25am, officers responded to reports of a stabbing on Churchgate in Bolton town centre.
An 18-year-old man was then taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Greater Manchester Police can now confirm two men have been charged in relation to this incident.
Lewis Barton (15/07/2002) of Churchill Drive, Bolton has been charged with wounding with intent, two counts of assault and possession of a bladed article.
Levi Wharmby (27/11/2001) Croft Avenue, Bolton has been charged with wounding with intent and two counts of assault.
They have both been bailed to appear at Bolton Crown Court on Monday 20 February 2023.
