Earlier this morning (29/07/2023) at around 6:30am, officers were called to reports of a disturbance at an address on Moston Lane in Manchester.
Officers attended and found two men (41 and 37) present at the address who had sustained stab wounds. Both men were taken to hospital for treatment, although thankfully their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life changing.
A 38-year-old man was also found at the address and was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Detective Inspector Mike Russell of GMP Manchester North District said: "This was a vicious attack, but I would like to reassure the community that our investigation is progressing at pace and we are working hard to piece together the full circumstances.
“It is being treated as a targeted attack and we are not currently looking for anyone else involved.
“I understand the concerns an incident of this nature will cause however we are treating it as an isolated incident. There will nevertheless be extra patrol plans in place to provide a visible and reassuring policing presence in the community. If you do have any concerns, I urge you to speak to the officers who will be on hand to assist.
"We are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident and who may have information to share - including footage such as CCTV, mobile or dashcam - to make contact with police."
