Three people are in custody after officers responded to reports of males with weapons in Stretford on Sunday (16 July 2023).
Officers were called to Lostock Circle at around 5pm.
Edward Waters (5/4/1994), of NFA, has been charged with affray, possession of an offensive weapon, making threats with an offensive weapon in a public place and possession of cannabis.
Lewis Brandon Hoadley (17/7/1997), of Wilmslow Road, Wilmslow, has also been charged with affray, while a 16-year-old boy has been charged with affray, possession with intent to supply cannabis, possession of a bladed article in a public place and making threats with a bladed article in a public place.
All three have been remanded to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today.
There has been an increased police presence in the area since the reports and will continue to be for the next few days.
