Two charged with multiple shop thefts in Horwich

A 33-year-old man and 33-year-old woman have been charged in connection with a number of reported shop thefts in Horwich Town Centre.

Tony Meeks (29/03/1990) of no fixed abode has been charged with five counts of theft and one common assault, and Leigha Donnellan (14/05/1990) of Chorley New Road, Bolton, with two counts of theft and one common assault.

They are both to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today, Saturday 22^nd July 2023.

We previously reported two people had been arrested on Thursday 20^th July 2023.
