Greater Manchester Police are appealing for information following a serious collision on Palatine Road, Northenden.
At around 10.10am today (Friday 23 June 2023) officers were called to reports that a motor vehicle collided with a pedal cyclist.
Officers and colleagues from North West Ambulance Service attended and took the injured pedal cyclist, a 44-year-old man, to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
He has serious injuries which are believed at this time to be non-life threatening.
A 63-year-old man was arrested for causing serious injury by careless driving. The man has now released from custody pending further investigation.
Police are now appealing for people who may have seen anything, or anyone with dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage, to please get in touch.
