Officers from GMP South Manchester division have released images of more than 200 items believed to have been stolen in a bid to reunite them with their rightful owners.
Large quantities of jewellery including watches, medals, necklaces, and earrings were discovered as part of investigations into burglaries in Manchester and Cheshire earlier this year.
Police Constable Lewis from GMP South Manchester division said: “We have recovered a significant amount of jewellery we suspect has been stolen from homes across Greater Manchester and Cheshire.
“We’re keen to reunite these items with their rightful owners, many of which we believe will hold significant sentimental value to their owners.”
Anyone who believes any of the items belong to them, or knows who they might belong to, should contact police by calling the South Manchester Neighbourhood Crime Team on 0161 856 4272.
