Greater Manchester Police are appealing for information following a serious collision in in Bolton.
At around 9.50am today (Sunday 11 June 2023) officers were called to reports that a cyclist had collided with a pedestrian on Chorley New Road.
Officers and colleagues from NWAS attended and took the injured pedestrian, a man in his 80s, to hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
Police are now appealing for people who may have witnessed the collison to come forward.
Detective Constable Shaun Whittaker, from GMP’s Bolton District, said: “We are asking for anyone who who may have seen the incident to please get in touch.
"We are particularly interested in anyone with any dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage, which will help us establish the full facts.”
