Officers are appealing for information following reports of an assault at Manchester Fort Shopping Park on Saturday, 10 June 2023.
At around 4.30pm in one of the shopping park's businesses, a man was asked for money by a group of men. He refused and this subsequently resulted in a fight.
The man was then seriously assaulted, receiving hospital treatment for his injuries.
The group were later seen driving away from the retail park.
Investigators are now asking for any witnesses to please get in touch in order to assist with their enquiries.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who was at the scene at the time, or has dashcam footage of the incident.
