Greater Manchester Police (GMP) Detectives investigating the murder of Warren Burns (37) charged a third man yesterday (2 June 2023).
Ryan White (DOB: 14 November 1994) of no fixed abode has been charged with the murder of Warren Burns and has been remanded into police custody. He appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today (3 June 2023).
He is the third person charged with this murder following Damian White (28/11/89), of Woodham Road, Northern Moor and Brandon White (21/09/2002) of Radstock Close, Fallowfield.
Warren sadly passed away in hospital on Sunday 21 May 2023, after he was assaulted at an address on Heysham Avenue in Fallowfield.
In an earlier tribute, Warren’s family described Warren as a ‘fun-loving’, ‘larger-than-life character with a gentle soul’ and said he would be ‘greatly missed.’
Detective Chief Inspector Nicola McCulloch of GMP's Major Incident Team said: “We are determined to get justice for Warren and bring closure to his family who have been left devastated by this loss.
“Extensive work is going on in the background and the investigation team are working hard to piece together the events that led to Warren’s death. We are continuing to appeal to anyone with information regarding this incident to do the right thing and share it with us.
“This includes anyone with knowledge about the incident, witnesses or anyone who has footage – including CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage relating to the incident."
